Lambs and Breeding Stock

For Sale
We do not have any lambs or livestock for sale at this time. We normally lamb in April/May. Please check back with us then, or join our mailing list to get updates as the lambs are born.
Most of our animals that are for sale are lambs, but occasionally we do have available adult animals. The adults are not culls – but animals that we have decided to sell because our breeding plans have taken us in another direction, or we have too many of  certain favorite bloodline. Yearlings are usually animals that we held over to see how their color or markings developed. This is a check we run on our color breeding program occasionally – it is nice for us to see their adult fleece color and fineness growing in after their first shearing.

Our Waiting List

We run a waiting list for some of the harder to find colors - so come take a look and if that lamb that you are looking for is not available, get on our free 'wish' list! We do base some of our breeding decisions on our customers' requests. Call early for an appointment to come and see the new lambs.

2021 Spring Lambs

We stood two rams for 2021 spring (April) lambs - PaintedKnoll Condor and Chantilly Camelot. We are expecting stunning lambs, some solid, some spotted and some Katmoget marked.

Due to Covid19, we will be carefully scheduling folks to come see lambs individually so there is no overlap of families here at the same time. To all of our customers past and future, please stay safe. We will not be having a general open barn weekend this year. Be sure you are on our mailing list to find out when our 2021 lambs are available.

Currently for Sale - Adult & Yearling Ewes

We occasionally sell adult and yearling ewes who have been bred. Sign up for our email list for notifications when our ewes are available.

Wethers $175

Wethers (castrated males) make lovely pets, fiber animals or herding flocks.
We will castrate almost any ram lamb for you or you can have your vet do it. A wether does not come with registration papers. If the animal leaves here intact you will pay full ram price but get a refund of the difference with proof of castration AS A LAMB. Once the first breeding season has passed there will be no refunds down to wether price.

Adult & Yearling Rams

We occasionally sell adult and yearling rams. Sign up for our email list for notifications when rams are available.

2020 Lambs (sold)

PaintedKnoll Chortle fawn gulmoget ram twin 4/19/20 PaintedKnoll Perigrine x Chantilly Camelot This nicely marked and beautifully put together boy should grow to whatever you need from a herd sire to a fiber animal to a lawn mower. Just too cute for words.
PaintedKnoll Chuckle Moorit ram twin 4/19/20 PaintedKnoll Perry x Chantilly Camelot Twin to the above boy, this little guy is a looker as well though of the solid variety. I have aother photo of him but can't seem to find it at the moment. Both of these boys have been handled like all of our lambs.
PaintedKnoll Giggle 4/9/20 black/spotted ewe twin Pasttime Gumdrop x PaintedKnoll Condor This little girl is a total cutie with white socks, a white tail tip and that face! Pictured here with her foster mother as she was stolen by another ewe at birth.
PaintedKnoll Glee black ewe lamb twin 4/12/20 Red Horse Filene x PaintedKnoll Condor This solid black girl is a cutie for sure. Nice confoirmation and super friendly as her mother got sick after lambing so we were supplemental feeding these twins. I believe she will remain black as her tongue is black. See below for brother. NFS - Holding for color check
PaintedKnoll Grin gray ram lamb twin 4/12/20 Red Horse Filene x PaintedKnoll Condor Super friendly boy who was handled a lot due to supplemental feeding. Even though he appears solid dark black at this time his tongue is pink so I believe he will ultimately be gray.
PaintedKnoll Guffaw 4/9/20 Gray/White katmoget ram twin Pastime Gumdrop x PaintedKnoll Condor This gray and white heavily spotted katmoget ram lamb is eye candy for sure. Like his sister above he was super friendly from the moment he was born.Nice conformation and cuddly soft silky fleece.
PaintedKnoll Howl Fawn Katmoget ram twin 4/19/20 Mapleton Bethlehem Star x Chantill Camelot This boy is another one of those total eye candy packages, and he is the whole package for sure. Grat conformation, beautiful markings and he should have a winning fleece.
PaintedKnoll Smile Moorit ewe twin 4/19/20 Mapleton Bethlehem Star x Chantilly Camelot This little girl is the cutest . Feminine and quiet, she often falls asleep in my lap. Both parents have incredible fleeces so should she. Great conformation as well. She would add a lot of good breeding and looks to any flock.
PaintedKnoll Snicker 4/2/20 fawn ram lamb twin Summer Hill Laila x Chantilly Camelot Twin to the above lamb, this boy is built a bit stockier and is a darker color but equally as nice. Both parents have super nice fleeces so I expect both of these boys to have the same.
PaintedKnoll TeeHee musket ram single 4/23/20 RedHorse Freckles x Chantilly Camelot In this photo TeeHee is oly about two hours old. Small white spots on his head will fade with time and he will lighten to a lovely golden beige color like his mother. Very sweet boy.

Rent a Ram
Also ask us about bringing in your ewes to be bred to our rams. Conditions apply but a lot of folks have done this and been very pleased with the outcomes.
