Registered Shetland Sheep

Our goals are simple...

To raise the very best livestock we can, and to provide both breeding stock and ‘pets’ to anyone with the desire to fall in love with this hardy, energetic breed.

We specialize in healthy, friendly Shetland sheep of many colors.
We pride ourselves on taking time before a sale to make certain that a prospective new owner has all the information they need to make a wise choice as to whether or not a sheep is right for them; and also to provide a support system after a sale for those ‘after market’ questions that always arise.
Meet the Flock

Our Lambs
We very carefully breed for fleece quality, personality and conformation – so regardless of what you want for a lamb we can probably meet your needs. Our lambs are just as able to step into the show ring, or be a star in your spinning or pet flock.

Before our lambs go to their new homes we make certain that they have gotten the very best from their mothers and are now eating pasture and hay with gusto. They all get their first and second
CDT shot you pick them up. They are wormed before they leave our premises. Arrangements can be made to have little ram lambs wethered (castrated) if you are looking for a nice pet rather than a breeding ram.

Come for a Visit

We love to have visitors to our farm and try to make all feel welcome - our true ambassadors however are our flock of registered Shetlands who are always up for a scratch under the chin or a friendly word.

In an effort to save endangered breeds, the Livestock Conservancy encourages fiber artists to use rare wool. The program also educates shepherds about how to prepare their wool for sale and how to reach customers and fiber artists, providing a way to make money with  heritage breeds.
